When sending files over the Internet, either as email attachments or by uploading them to file sharing websites, you can never be sure about their safety. That's because you cannot know what servers are transporting the email to its destination and how many people can have access to the attachment inside the message. You could ZIP the attachment files and protect them with a password, but this method is not so secure. Or even better, you could use the Cryptra application, a program specially designed for encrypting files, making them almost impossible to decrypt, even by the most advanced hackers.

After installing the application, the user will need to point to the location of the Cryptra drive. That's because the actual encryption key is securely stored on a physical USB memory device, which is delivered to the user when buying the program. Each key has a unique ID, so it's impossible for other Cryptra users to decrypt your files. After configuring the program, the user will only need to select the file that should be encrypted.

After this, the user will only need to click on the Encrypt button. Optionally, the program allows encrypting and sending the file as an email attachment directly. After this, the recipient of the message will be able to view the file only if he enters the Cryptra key. The algorithm provided by Cryptra will make the encrypted file almost impossible to decrypt, no matter what method is being used for this purpose.
